Coverage Area: We attend home births in southwest Missouri within 60 miles of Ash Grove (the geographic center of our midwives homes), roughly south of El Dorado Springs, Osceola, and Louisburg, MO; west of Conway and Seymour; North of Branson and Branson West; East of Joplin, Carthage, and Lamar. We no longer attend homebirths over 60 miles from Ash Grove. If you would like to have your baby at the Friends House private lodging "B&B" near Ash Grove, Missouri, we would be able to serve you there. Please ask for more information.

  1. CALL: Registered clients, day or night, always call or text the midwife phone first. We usually answer. 417-751-0040.
  2. VOICEMAIL: If we don't answer, always leave a voicemail. Give details in the message: your name, if this is urgent or not, your number, reason for your call.
  3. EMERGENCY: If you are in an emergency call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
